The Dream Bag conforms to category 4 of the Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1249:2003. This standard relates specifically to Children's nightwear and is strictly monitored. The Dream Bag is labeled as 'High Fire Danger', which meets the standard as set by Standards Australia. Most sleeping bags are classified as 'category 4' and must carry the high fire danger labels if they are closed at the bottom as is the case with The Dream Bag.
